“Why can’t I handle this better? What’s wrong with me?”

An uncertain next chapter. You want to get through it without replaying everything for days, questioning yourself, pushing harder, shrinking, or constantly looking outside yourself for reassurance that you’re doing the right thing.I help you get your confidence and peace of mind back, move through tough seasons with more steadiness, and feel like yourself again, so life doesn’t stay on hold while you figure things out.Come home to yourself. There's a life to live.Lyssa Miskawi, PCC

The free call is a 30-min Zoom call (or phone call, if you prefer) to discuss what you're navigating, what you want to change, and whether working together feels right.
No pressure. Just a conversation to see if it feels like a good fit.
Does this sound familiar?
“I should be further ahead by now.”
“Maybe I’m the problem.”
“I need a break, but I feel guilty taking one.”
“Once I reach that goal, then I can finally feel good about myself.”
“If this doesn’t go as I hope, what will it say about me?”
Does this look familiar?
Replaying an awkward moment for days.
Keeping the peace even when something matters to you.
Waiting for encouragement or permission before moving forward.
You keep researching, planning, or trying another strategy because you need to know you’re doing the right thing.
Some days you feel hopeful and capable. Other days, the anxiety comes back and you wonder if you’ve made any progress at all.

What you really want
You want your confidence and peace of mind back.
You want to make a decision and not spend the next two days reopening it.
You want to say what you mean without rehearsing it ten times first.
You want relationships where you can be honest about what you need and feel supported in return.
You want to enjoy the life you have instead of constantly questioning yourself through it.
You want to feel more alive, more able to want things, try things, enjoy things, and take up space in your own life.
And you want to feel okay being you, even when things are hard or you get something wrong.
Come Home to Yourself
A hard season can pull you away from yourself.
You become so focused on fixing the problem, getting the outcome, or making the right choice that you lose touch with what you feel, need, value, and want. The work isn’t to feel good about yourself all the time.
It’s to stop losing so much of your life to the moments when you don’t.
Less hiding. Less proving. Less waiting for permission.
More room to want, choose, speak, connect, create, rest, love, and live.Come home to yourself. There’s a life to live.Coming home to yourself means reconnecting with those parts of you while life is still unfolding. You don’t have to wait until everything is resolved to feel like yourself again.

Meet Lyssa
I’m Lyssa Miskawi, an ICF Professional Certified Coach with more than 800 hours of coaching experience and a professional background in human resources and learning and development.“Coming home to yourself” is more than a message I use in my work. It reflects a journey I continue to live.
The Journey
I know what it is like to be capable, responsible, and used to figuring things out, only to enter a season where the usual strategies no longer seem to work. For years, I spent a lot of energy trying to get things “right”, manage uncertainty, and look outside myself for answers. When life felt difficult, it was easy to question myself, push harder, people-please, and override what I knew and needed.I found it difficult to trust my inner voice, root for myself, and offer myself the understanding and encouragement I readily offered others. Changing this relationship has required honest inner work, self-compassion, courageous choices, and ongoing practice. Spirituality has also been a meaningful part of that journey.Through this work, I experienced the clarity, steadiness, and freedom that grow when you learn to listen to yourself and stop treating every struggle as evidence that something is wrong with you. That experience became part of why I do this work: to support others in finding their way back to themselves and developing a stronger, kinder relationship with themselves, especially when life gets tough. My personal experience helps me understand the terrain. My professional training and coaching experience equip me to support you within a thoughtful, ethical, and client-centered coaching relationship.I meet you where you are, offer honest reflection and thoughtful challenge, and help you turn what you discover into changes you can actually live, personally, professionally, or both.
What clients have experienced
"Lyssa has been one of the few people who genuinely changed the way I see myself, both in my career and in my personal life. I learned to understand what is really behind my thoughts and reactions, and more importantly, to put into words what I think, feel, and need without holding back or losing myself. This has changed the way I lead, communicate, handle difficult situations, and build relationships. The greatest value was not being told who to become, but being helped to become more fully myself." — S.A.
“Lyssa is one of the best coaches I’ve worked with, so much so that I returned after a six-to-eight-month break to continue our work together. She helped me recognize and move beyond black-and-white thinking, opening me up to new perspectives. Highly recommend.” — C.B.
“What I valued the most about Lyssa and her coaching is working with a warm person who genuinely cares, a curious coach who asks powerful questions, and an accountability partner who makes sure I deliver on my commitments.” — P.T.

Whole-Person Coaching
You do not experience life in separate compartments. Your work, relationships, well-being, identity, and responsibilities all influence one another.Whole-person coaching makes room for the full picture: Your thoughts, emotions, needs, values, relationships, work, physical experience, and sense of meaning.Spirituality is deeply meaningful in my own life. If it is important to you, it can also have a place in our work, always guided by your beliefs and preferences.Whether the challenge is personal, professional, or both, our work responds to who you are and what you need, not a rigid formula.

How We Work Together
My approach is compassionate, direct, reflective, and practical. My coaching is informed by evidence-based approaches and practices, including principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), alongside mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and parts-informed work. This integrated approach helps us move beyond surface-level solutions to understand the thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and protective patterns shaping how you live, work, and relate. Together, we turn that awareness into practical, intentional change tailored to your needs, values, and goals.I believe you are the expert on your life. My role is not to hand you a formula or make decisions for you. I ask meaningful questions, notice patterns, offer honest reflections, gently challenge you, and support you in turning awareness into action. Our work moves through five connected practices:

Recognize

Understand

Reconnect

Practice

Embody
Insight matters, but understanding a pattern is not always enough to change it. Our work makes room for your thoughts, emotions, needs, values, lived experience, and spirituality when it is meaningful to you.Recognize
Notice the reactions, emotions, habits, patterns, and inner conflicts keeping you from moving forward.
Understand
Explore what lies beneath them, what they have been trying to protect, and what your experience is asking you to notice.
Reconnect
Listen more closely to your needs, values, inner voice, and what matters to you.
Practice
Experiment with new choices and responses in your everyday life.
Embody
Repeat and integrate those choices in your decisions, boundaries, relationships, work, and daily life.
